Other topics include inter-disciplinary competence, managing stress, finances, ethics, legal pitfalls, and professionalism.

In summary, Anatomy 7800 has six functions: (1) to prepare students for their surgical internship; (2) to provide an understanding of the scientific basis of the care of the surgical patient; (3) to have students reintegrate Foundations phase basic sciences with Clinical Immersion and Specialty Specific Transitions phase clinical knowledge; (4) to provide experience with selected surgical procedures and techniques; (5) to familiarize students with operating room roles, responsibilities, and procedures; and (6) to review surgically relevant anatomy.
